Asheville Musings & Reminders

The love I have for my hometown is unwavering.  Asheville has become such a yoga haven, full of fantastic studios and dedicated teachers.  But these occasional visits always make me realize just how magical our Yoga Garden community is and how fortunate we are to have the amazing teachers and students to grace the Garden!  Good to be home in Apex!

Self Imposed Retreat

Not a bad place to begin my mountain hiatus for a few days.  It's already 11:00am and I have not had to utter a word.   Ahhh.  Coffee stop near old stomping grounds and a peep into my childhood library.

Utencils for the day: rake, ivy fencing, moon incense and boots

First Dig in the New Garden

Before planning the new back yard, I had to make my first plantings to christen my magickal garden:  wormwood, rosemary and we'll see if the muscadine grapes take hold!  Moon incense and plashes of red (muladhara/root chakra/ EARTH) among the pollen snow made me smile.
